Gizem Daver
With four years of experience as a translator in Turkish, English, French, Spanish, and Italian, she brings a rich international perspective from her studies and internships in the USA, Türkiye, Spain, and Italy. Her background also includes volunteering at a nonprofit resale shop in the United States. A passionate advocate for environmental conservation and animal welfare, she integrates her professional expertise with her commitment to creating a greener, more sustainable world. She is currently pursuing her graduate studies in Journalism and Multimedia Communication at Luiss Guido Carli University.

Giorgio Licciardello
A passionate advocate for a sustainable future, deeply connected to nature as a plant lover, dedicated cyclist, triathlete, and molecular biologist. He completed his PhD in Agrifood and Environmental Sciences at Trento University, where his research focuses on enhancing cold tolerance in crops using Antarctic bacterial endophytes. This work is part of his broader commitment to developing innovative, science-based solutions that support a resilient and sustainable agricultural system.
He embraced 350 Sicilia’s mission with enthusiasm and dedication, driven by his commitment to combating climate change and promoting environmental sustainability. He also enjoys organising events and fostering a sense of community. Beyond his involvement with 350, he is passionate about genealogical research, language learning, good music, movies, reading and he co-supervises an informal journal named ‘Ad muzzum’.

Camille Boudein
Camille is engaged in multiple projects related to both internal and international migration. Initially, she became actively involved with local associations in Calais, Northern France. This experience has enriched her knowledge, complementing her academic studies in migration. She is now specialising in climate and environmental migration. At the same time, living in a region prone to flooding, she aims to foster an informed and balanced perception of risk without alarmism.
Arianna Barcherini
Arianna is passionate about migration and development, she holds a master degree in International Cooperation for Development at Sapienza University of Rome. She gained experience working on international projects and research activities as intern within International organizations and think tank such IFAD, IOM and MPI. Beyond her attention to humanitarian and environmental issues, she is strongly passionate about reading, music and photography.
Simone Giuseppe Laudani
Simone studied Digital Humanities at the University of Catania. He is interested in data analysis applied in digital marketing as well as text analysis.
He likes movies, books and comics. His passion for nature and animals drives him to get involved in volunteer activities with Plastic Free Sicilia and 350 Sicilia. In his spare time, he loves reading, cooking and practicing calisthenics. His mission is to safeguard the planet for future generations and to share his vision through the power of storytelling by writing a book.
Francesco Bracale
Francesco is enthusiastic about topics such as climate change, environment and youth work. Graduated in International Studies, Francesco enjoys music, playing, movies and books. In a world that is rapidly transforming, he believes it is crucial to be proactive and engaged in local communities to stay informed and raise awareness about these changes. He joined the 350 Sicilia community and participated in an ESC project focused on second-hand clothing and recycling.
Zeynep Okyay
Zeynep is a journalist and International Relations specialist from Türkiye. She holds degrees in Journalism and Political Science and International Relations, and has gained academic and NGO experience in Türkiye, France, Spain, and Italy.
Her background has shaped her interest in sustainability, social inclusion, and environmental communication.
She believes in the importance of community-based initiatives and collaborative climate action to build a more just and sustainable future.
İhsan Bilgin
Ihsan is interested in climate policy, sustainable development, and youth engagement, and has been actively working in these areas across international and multi-stakeholder environments. He holds an MSc in Development and International Cooperation from Sapienza University of Rome and a BSc in International Relations from Middle East Technical University.
Throughout his career, he has worked with various international organisations and institutions on climate finance, resilient societies, sustainable agriculture, and regional cooperation. Among others, he gained experience at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank and the Union for the Mediterranean, contributing to policy research, reporting, institutional coordination, and engagement with high-level stakeholders.
He is particularly passionate about climate action, just transition, and creating meaningful spaces for young people in decision-making processes. He enjoys connecting technical policy discussions with real social impact and contributing to more inclusive and resilient development pathways.
